Getting started with WordPress hosting

Log in to WordPress, secure it with a domain, and manage the basics.

Steps

  1. Open your WordPress service from Services. The service page shows your site URL and wp-admin login.
  2. Sign in to wp-admin and set up your site as usual (theme, pages, plugins).
  3. Add your custom domain and let SSL issue automatically — see Connect a custom domain.
  4. Review the service's PHP version / runtime limits if a plugin needs more memory or execution time.
  5. Rely on automatic backups, and restore from a point in time if needed — see View and restore backups.

Tip: use maintenance mode on the service while making big changes so visitors see a tidy page.
